Our Services

We provide individual counseling services to clients ages 14 and up who are located in the state of Michigan.

Please note, minors must be appropriate for individual counseling (with caregiver involvement as appropriate) as we do not provide family therapy. This will be further discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Our areas of focus include: trauma and PTSD, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, stress and burnout, depression, personal growth, self-fulfillment, women’s issues, life adjustments, relationship dynamics, self-esteem and internal narratives, perinatal care, professional development, ADHD, and communication skill-building. 

Our approach to treatment recommendation is integrative and may include experiential, psychodynamic, humanistic, somatic, and/or behavioral modalities such as:

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Insight-Oriented Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Trauma Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy and more. 

Payment is due at the time of service and can be made via: Cash, Check, Credit/Debit Card, or HSA/FSA Card.

An active card must be kept on file during treatment.

*If Alcove Counseling & Wellness is not in-network with your insurance plan and you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide an itemized receipt or “superbill,” that you can then submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

Rate:
Each 60-minute session is $150. Sliding scale rates are available to those who are eligible. Please contact us to discuss this option.

It is our goal to increase wellness opportunities within our community through support groups, therapy groups, treatment intensives, workshops, and events.
